Monthly Crime Book Box – January 2020

Our crime book of the month for January is Mr Nobody by Catherine Steadman!

I am thrilled to be giving you a first edition of Mr Nobody by Catherine Steadman. Catherine is a talented author and actress and became a mum for the first time earlier this month just before the UK publication of Mr Nobody on 9 January.

You may recognise Catherine from her acting roles which include Mabel Lane Fox in Downton Abbey.

We gave this box the theme 'Remember, remember'.

Catherine Steadman's debut novel Something in the Water was published in July 2018 and I loved it! I couldn’t wait to read this second novel (which is not a sequel) and once I’d read it I knew I had to share it with you.

In such a wintery month some extra lip care is essential which is why I have worked with Caz at Lovely Skincare to bring you a gorgeous bespoke lip balm!

Lovely is an artisan skincare and beauty company run by Caz and based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire not far from My Chronicle HQ. All their products are handmade from scratch using their very own extra special skincare recipes, with only the best quality, ethically sourced ingredients. This lip balm is not only fun but also fabulous and will keep your lips luscious!

For many of us January is a time of new resolutions and planning for the year ahead. To help you keep a little more organised I’ve included the pen/pencil pouch because I can never find a pen when I need one!

It was designed and produced by ‘That Company Called If’ based in Pickering North Yorkshire. This independent company have been designing, manufacturing and distributing innovative gives just for book lovers since 1996.

The cute ‘book plot’ pencils are produced exclusively for My Chronicle by Cotswolds based Cam Graphic. Robin and Sue absolutely LOVE trees and wood and create a range of lovely bespoke wooden items. They are committed to only using materials from sustainable and responsibly harvested sources and we share their environmental concerns and commitment.
