What is My Chronicle Book Box?
My Chronicle Book Box is a unique reading box curated for you every three months containing the latest literary releases, author exclusives and a selection of beautifully crafted associated items.
When will I get my lovely box?
Boxes will be shipped 4 times a year during the first week of:
- August and
The date it is delivered to your door will then depend on your location.
When do I need to order / pay for the next box?
We will keep orders open for the next box until we are sold out, but generally we tend to run out 1 to 2 weeks before our shipping date.
Before you purchase, the product page will include details of the box to expect first and shipping date.
We collect payments quarterly, £45 every 3 months on the following dates:
- February box 1st January
- May box 1st April
- August box 1st July
- November box 1st October
Where can I get the latest news and updates?
Follow our News Updates and Book Reviews. You can find us on social media – Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You can also sing up to our Newsletter for a monthly round up of updates, and other bookish features.
Are packaging materials recycled / recyclable?
Yes they are. I want to assure you that we have used recycled materials where ever possible, for example the postcards that feature in our photos are printed on recycled card and let you know that all the packaging we use is recyclable so please do reuse and recycle it.
You won’t find any polystyrene beans or similar in our boxes, only recycled shredded paper.
Is the subscription value for money?
Absolutely! When we curate our boxes we promise to ensure great value. When you consider:
- the RRP of the books and items in the box
- the exclusive and customised contents of the box that cannot be purchased on the high street
- delivery to your doorstep and
- the opportunity to connect with us and others about the books/products/our shared love of reading
You are getting great value for an equivalent of £15 per month. Which is less than I spend on takeaway coffee a month!
Is there a minimum term I have to sign up to?
No, all our subscriptions automatically renew but you’re always in control: you can cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account on our website. We don’t tie you in, we just try very hard to make our boxes so awesome that you want to keep receiving them!
Can I swap my subscription from crime & mystery to sci-fi & fantasy (or vice versa)?
Yes! There is no need to cancel and reorder if you would like to change the genre of the box you would like to receive. Just drop us a line by 20th of the month before shipping and we can make that change for you. You are in control of your subscription – you can modify it at any time.
Do you ship to my location?
We ship worldwide, for your specific location click ‘calculate shipping’ at the checkout and check our drop down list of destinations. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO box addresses or military addresses.
Do you offer a bespoke service?
It is sometimes possible for us to provide bespoke boxes, feel free to get in contact with me at Louise@mychroniclebookbox.com with your requirements!
Can I buy a previous box?
If you are a new subscriber and would like to purchase a previous box this may be possible it will be available to purchase in our shop.
I am an artisan supplier, are you interested in my products?
We are always looking for the best products so please feel free to email me at Louise@mychroniclebookbox.com with details of yourself and your products for us to consider.
I’m a blogger / social influencer, can I have a box to review?
Thanks for your interest! Drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org with details about your online presence to find out if we could work together. Please note we do have only a limited number of each box available for review.
Am I too young for a My Chronicle Book Box subscription?
The contents of the boxes are aimed at adults, they are not suitable for children and young adults should check our past boxes for an indication of the types of books we include to make their decision.
How do I cancel my subscription?
The subscription renews each quarter but you can cancel at any time, by logging into your account. If you are considering cancelling please do get in touch, we would hate to lose you and would value any feedback.
