In using the My Chronicle Book Box website, and by purchasing My Chronicle Book Box products, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use outlined below in full, as may be updated by us from time to time. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use this website.

All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to My Chronicle Book Box. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without our permission. You may not modify, distribute or repost anything on this website for any purpose, without first seeking our permission to do so.
You can only purchase goods from this Website if you are elligible to enter into a contract and are over 18 years of age or have parental permission and you are resident in one of our serviced countries.
All orders are subject to availability.
Despatch dates, which are communicated clearly on the Website, are approximate and may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.
Free standard shipping to mainland UK and Northern Ireland is by Royal Mail 2nd class delivery.
We do not deliver to military or PO box addresses.
International shipping costs do not include customs and other taxes that may be due within your country. The buyer is responsible for any import taxes imposed by their home country. Please take these fees into account when buying.
International shipping rates are based on those charged by our authorised third party courier and can be found by clicking “calculate shipping” in the checkout process. If your location is not listed in this list of serviced countries we are not able to deliver to your location and you must not place an order.
When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate and we will process the order accordingly. You must provide us with a valid e-mail address. We will notify you by e-mail as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and associated details.
We will deliver to the address you specify for delivery as part of the checkout process. It is important that this address is accurate. If it is not, the delivery of any replacement item may need to be covered by the buyer.
We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions.
Risk of damage to / loss of goods passes to you at the time of delivery.
You will only own the goods once they have been successfully delivered and when we have received cleared payment in full.
Goods supplied are not for resale.
For orders of our Book Subscription Box / Gift Box products the goods included in the ordered box will remain unknown until receiving the box.
When placing an order you also undertake that you are an authorised user of the payment method used to place your order.
By subscribing to My Chronicle Book Box you are agreeing to pay recurring periodic subscriptions for an indefinite time until cancelled by you or us. You can deactivate your subscription at any time by logging in to your account.
Our quarterly subscription boxes are shipped every three months (“quarterly”) in the months of February, May, August and November. You have the option to pay for the box in full each quarter or in monthly installments.
Our monthly subscription boxes are shipped each month.
For subscription plan orders you registered payment method will be debited on the date specified on our website when you placed your order. The payment(s) received shall be treated as a deposit against the value of the goods you wish to purchase. Once the goods have been despatched and you have been sent a confirmation email the monies paid as a deposit shall be used as consideration for the value of goods you have purchased as listed in the confirmation email.
Your goods will not be despatched until confirmation has been provided that your payment has been successfully processed.
You have the right to cancel the purchase of goods without having to give a reason at anytime within the “cooling off period” of seven working days, beginning on the day you placed the order. To exercise this right you must inform us by clear statement to email@example.com. If you cancel this contract we will reimburse the payments made by you. We may however make a deduction for the loss in value of any goods supplied. Any reimbursements will be made using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
If you purchase a subscription product in full and cancel your subscription before delivery, we will deliver the next box unless you contact us in writing at least 5 working days before dispatch for a full refund. Write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We reserve the right to remove any of our product range or payment plans from sale at any given time without providing public notice of our intention. We reserve the right to change product prices, frequency of box subscriptions and delivery charges at any time without providing public notice of our intention. Any products you have already paid for will not be affected.
We reserve the right at our absolute discretion not to renew your subscription at any time without giving any reasons for our decision.
We may, from time to time, offer promotional codes for discounts. Promotional codes are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash, credit or towards previous purchases.
After you make a purchase with us we may email you an invitation to leave a review on our website.
Refunds Policy and Returns
If you are unhappy with your box for a legitimate reason such as: the box was missing items, the box was damaged, the box did not arrive; we will offer an appropriate refund as long as it can be shown that the box you were charged for was not provided as it should have been. Please contact us at email@example.com as soon as possible in this circumstance.
We will not guarantee to replace goods delivered on the basis that the recipient already owns the publication/item or has read the publication.
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire physical possession of the goods. To exercise the right to deactivate, you must inform us (Postal address: My Chronicle Book Box, 22 Step Business Centre, Wortley Road, Deepcar, Sheffield, S36 2UH, Email: firstname.lastname@example.org) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement.
To meet the deactivation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to deactivate before the cancellation period has expired.
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will reimburse all payments received from you no later than 14 days from the day on which we received the above communication. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
Accuracy of content
We have taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been fairly described. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website and we shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials contained on this website.
My Chronicle Book Box has no liability for injury or damage caused by products within the sold box. Such liability is the sole responsibility of the product brand or manufacturer.

We make every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it will not cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure that the right equipment is available to use the website. We will not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise to computer equipment as a result of using this website.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should therefore review them before making any purchase.
If any part of the Terms of Service is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of the Terms of Service will not be affected all other clauses remaining in full force and effect. So far as possible where any clause/sub-clause or part of a clause/sub-clause can be severed to render the remaining part valid, the clause shall be interpreted accordingly. Alternatively, you agree that the clause shall be rectified and interpreted in such a way that closely resembles the original meaning of the clause /sub-clause as is permitted by law.
Law, jurisdiction and language
This website, any content contained therein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.
